After taking a few years off to study at the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus, I'm back home and gearing up for a new academic year. I can't contain my excitement! With this change, I have a lot to juggle, especially ensuring that Nicko has everything he needs while I'm at work. Over the past year, I've been teaching him to handle small tasks, like making breakfast and taking care of the chores, he's chosen to do around the house. This might be a significant shift for him since he really thrives on the routines we've built together. Now that I'll be spending more time in the classroom, he'll need to adjust to my absence during the day.
